In its role as a partnership broker,the Family-Professional Partners Institute has facilitated 16 successful partnerships
and created an active family-professional partnership network. This 116-page publication incorporates the best knowledge gained from
that experience.
- Part I, The Brokered Partnership Model, outlines the Institute’s evolution and
its activities as a partnership broker.
- Part II, Brokering Family-Professional Partnerships, offers a more detailed
look at each of these activities, from assessing an organization’s partnership readiness, to training the Family Partners for their role, to making contractual arrangements and beyond.
- Part III, Building a Partnership Network, describes the Institute’s additional
efforts to promote family-professional partnership, and offers some words of
wisdom for becoming a partnership broker.
There are also two appendices. The first gives the reader a concise description
of each of the Institute’s partnerships, while the second provides sample print
materials developed by the Institute, which readers can adapt for their own use. Download this title.
